Not only did I do the Online CV Coaching but I also did the one-month job search mentoring. It was pretty intense. Looking for a job is like having a full-time job! During the job search, I had to identify two to three types of jobs I was interested in. This was a good thing, as it gave me more clarity on the type of jobs that were out there and what I liked. There is also workshop every week where I learned how to do a cover letter, setting up professional social media i.e Linkedin, mock interview, having a search log which is a good thing as it records the progress and keeps you on track; daily alert and apply for jobs daily, doing weekly reviews on how the search is progressing and what can be added or removed to make it successful…I now have a template on how to successfully apply for jobs. I did not found a job during my coaching with Ida although I had had several interviews. However I continued put into practice everything I learned with her and was able to find something about a week and a half later!
